This book aims to prepare statistics students for exams by showing how different formulas can be applied to arrive at the same answer. It contains solved questions from each topic, including classification & tabulation of data, frequency distribution and presentation of data-graphs as well as measures of central tendency and measures of dispersion. Other topics are skewness, moments & kurtosis; index numbers, time series analysis in addition to correlation, regression analysis and multiple & partial correlation. More topics include probability tree diagrams, binomial distribution and Poisson distribution; both for discrete probability variables and normal distribution for continuous distribution variables. Tests of hypothesis includes the study of; Z-test for normal distribution if the sample size (≥ 30) and T-test for normal distribution with a sample size (< 30), Confidence interval and Hypothesis tests for proportions.
