African mothers have always been the toughest, fathers could be somewhat docile while grandparents are the spoilers. In this book I have compiled my experiences with my parents and other members of their family like in a typical African home and their influences on me, those with teachers in public schools whose dealings with us was like a military training and politicians who are the monsters on deck.
It is often a hunt and escape, run and chase and catch and seize and thrash type of relationship. A relationship that made us to be continually aligned. A relationship that looking back is one to laugh at.
That democracy is the freedom and right to vote, with the know how of choosing the candidate you want on the ballot papers but with the lack of wisdom of judging who is the right leader to choose, democracy, the sound system is failing. Should there be education on how to choose representatives?
