I bet I was among the first lot to read the play and for sure nothing can separate my love for this play. I particularly enjoy reading it several times so that I can interact with some funny characters like kinyua and karegi who cannot let you hold your laughter😂😂. I can describe the play as a rib-breaking masterpiece. Besides, it reflects the political rottenness experienced by the common mwananci after voting. Purchase your copy and you will not regret.

The sadistic is a play that portrays how leaders get close to the people when looking for votes but when elected they oppress them. It’s a political satire with diverse themes. Guy I recommend this play, some characters like Kiria will leave your ribs breaking. I enjoyed reading the work of Sammy Mawira.

I am particularly impressed by the manner in which the playwright brings out the themes of family and bad leadership. He has artistically created the character of chief called Kiria, who calls himself democratic, yet his actions are that of an oppressor. Constructive criticism from his supportive wife, Kageni doesn’t sit well with him. I highly recommend this play. It is humourous, educative and mirrors the society.
