Aggrey Jonathan K Bett is a father, accountant, business consultant, and author and has been a business manager and leader. He is the author of two books: How To Start and Run Your Own Business and Personal Financial and Retirement Planning. These books contain the knowledge and experience gained over 30 years of working in the private and public sectors at senior executive levels and attending executive-grade local and international training courses, workshops, and seminars on business operations and management. Jonathan was, for over ten years, the Finance Director of the Central Bank of Kenya and was the founding head of Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation before his formal retirement. His experience includes serving as a non-executive director of several corporate institutions in Kenya, including the Co-operating Bank, Rafiki Microfinance Bank, Kenya Re-Insurance Corporation, and the Automobile Association of Kenya. He has also served as a Riara University Council Member. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He lives in Nairobi, Kenya, with his spouse, Abigael, and Claire, one of his daughters.
