The Rise of The Hekaya Keepers
Three children from Hekaya Primary School are on a school trip to Chanzo Museum where they are chosen to inherit super powers from the past legends of Hekaya. These legends are based on Kenyan heroes (Lwanda Magere, Koitalel arap Samoei and Mekatilili wa Menza). They have to use these super powers to defeat Yamo the wind monster and Kibunga the water monster who are on a mission to destroy the people of Hekaya in vengeance for how badly they have treated the land, water and resources that Hekaya has provided them with to sustain life. It is an entertaining story and one that brings out the importance of caring for the environment and how our young ones can play their part by recycling and reusing things like plastics.
