Hamid Abiyo Omar is a poet, a novelist, a short story writer, a spoken word artist, a script writer, a budding painter, an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Certified Professional Mediator.

Hamid’s first book, ” Beyond the Mirage,” was referenced in an international journal called The journal of Commonwealth Literature, 2021, Vol. 56 (4), 577-591 in an article called, ” East and Central Africa.”s

His poem, ” Lone Time,” was featured in Writers Space Africa Magazine, internationally recognized having won awards, on the February 2023 Issue 74, Pg. 16.

Hamid was born on 19th July 1995 and currently lives in Malindi, Kenya.
