Dawn of Fortune is largely a journal in the romance niche. It journeys the reader through the life of the lead character Ami.  From the onset, it highlights the impeding nature of forced marriages in most African cultures. Most of which openly undermine the girl child in terms of education and expression.  Does our lead character Ami bow down to the pressure? It also lays emphasis on the imperfections of love, what would seemingly look like a beautiful thing to experience. We see the lead character falling in love and getting hurt by it. Ideally, this journal explores real life experiences and brings them all together explosively. What would,otherwise, leave the reader glued and in suspense to no end. The journal being thought provoking, gripping and a real page-turner beautifully captures the reader's attention and creativity makes them adopt a role.
