In Bryanston, Johannesburg, Zambian-born Owami is living her best life with her first love and their three children. In Fourways, Johannesburg Akani is holding on to a secret that he can’t share with his wife, Tumelo.
Then on a rainy summer’s day, lightning strikes and the lives of the two couples are drastically changed.
Zukiswa Wanner’s fifth novel is a tale of naivete and love lost and tragic consequences proving that death, like love, is inevitable.
How far would you go for love and how far is too far?
