A long time ago, animals and humans played sports together. Until the giraffe messed it up. Okapi is a giraffe from the Ituri forest. He wanted to play basketball with humans. So, as they strode around chewing twigs with his father, he said, ‘I would like to play basketball with humans, but I do not know how to play.’
‘My son, if you believe you can play, you can play. Moreover, you have a good height,’ his father advised him.
Okapi then became so excited, after hearing his father’s advice. And he could visit the basketball arena from time to time. Although, his father forgot to mention to him that he must put in the effort.
…The Giants’ Forward player dribbled the ball toward Okapi.
Skid! Skid! ’Ops!’ Okapi slid on the floor like a newbie skater.
He had the audience hooting with laughter, ‘Ha-ha!’
Okapi was not only able to prevent the Giants from scoring. But also had caused plenty of penalties with his tall legs tripping their opponents.
Note: Okapi is an endangered breed between Zebra and a Giraffe from Congolese the Ituri rainforest.
