But every choice has consequences, and as unrest surges in the factions all around her, Tris Prior must continue trying to save those she loves—and herself—while grappling with haunting questions of grief and forgiveness, identity and loyalty, politics and love. War now looms as conflict between the factions and their ideologies grows. And in times of war, sides must be chosen, secrets will emerge, and choices will become even more irrevocable—and even more powerful. Transformed by her own decisions but also by haunting grief and guilt, radical new discoveries, and shifting relationships, Tris must fully embrace her Divergence, even if she does not know what she may lose by doing so. You Will Overcome by Purity Museo

KShs1,199.00 KShs999.00
WE WERE CREATED TO OVERCOME God created us to be fruitful and to rule. When we are confronted with ups and downs, health struggles, when life weighs us down, we have what it takes to overcome. In her inspiring first book, YOU WILL OVERCOME! An exceptional Story of Determination Conquering All, Purity Museo shares a personal story of resilience and life without limitations. This book will help readers believe bigger and not be guided by their backgrounds. Museo’s inspiring message focuses mainly on: Daring to Take Risks, Staying on Course, getting out of your comfort zone and believing bigger. YOU WILL OVERCOME challenges readers not to give you on their dreams and ambitions. To trust the process, put in the hard work and be ready for VICTORY. It is based on true story and experiences. John 1:5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. This book‘s title is inspired by my personal journey. I look at my story as that of From Grass to Grace. I lost my mom, who was raising us single-handedly in 2009. My twin and I were only 17 years old. I was in form 3. There was no hope left for me. My mom was the only family‘s bread winner then. I was sure I was going to join the list of girls in our area that had dropped out of school for lack of school fees. Who was going to pay my school fees? At that time, boys were given priority when it came to matters education. I knew if there was going to be any opportunity to continue with studies, it was going to favor my brother. A few relatives were already helping me secure a job as a house girl in the city. I was left with my grandparents who also depended on my mom. All this was understandable. I had completed my form three exams when mom died. My dream of joining University was almost coming to pass. I had one more academic year left before i could join University. It was my dream to become a Television News Anchor and from the little research I had done, one needed to pursue a course in Journalism at a University level before appearing on TV. I asked God a lot of Questions when mom died. Why had He taken away our only hope? Must all people in our family be born and die poor! No one had pursued education up to university level in our family. Bitterness had taken control of me. I was angry with God. Why did He have to choose my family to be poor! I hated village life. I hated the things I saw there. I hated seeing girls being married off and their dreams shuttered. I wanted to change the story of my family and that of our village. I knew that was only going to be possible through education. I was among few girls in our village who had successfully joined high school. Majority either got pregnant before or after finishing primary education while others were married off as soon as they cleared primary school. It was not a big deal then. It was an achievement for any family to have their daughter finish their primary education and get married. However, a few parents had chosen a different path. My mom was among them. She was determined to ensure I achieved my dreams. She did not get the opportunity to proceed beyond primary level. And now, my dream was now being shuttered. Part of the reason I worked hard in school was to make my mom proud and happy. I had to come to terms with the fact that mom had gone to be with the Lord. I decided to drop the ̳mama‘s girl tag and have a more fighting spirit. Being a last born, I was my mom‘s favorite baby. I would get what I want when I needed it. Though we lived far from each other, she always got in touch. She lived in Mombasa where she worked as we stayed in the village with our grandparents. The journey has been the toughest since she died, but ooh thanks be to God I am here today. I refer to my story as An Exceptional Story of Determination Conquering All. Hope it will inspire, change your life‘s perspective and above help you get to your destiny. I am not where I want to be yet, but what the Lord began in me, He will surely accomplish it. I am only getting started. Author : Purity Museo ISBN: 97899147003023
