Environmental Activities Grade Two has been comprehensively written to meet the requirements of the new competency-based curriculum. The content is guided strictly by the specific learning outcomes and suggested learning experiences. The inquiry-based approach, which emphasises on "how we come to know" rather than "what we know" has been used throughout the development of the content. This learner's book used a variety of learning activites including project assignments, discussions, homework, parental involvement, experiments, field studies, obcervations and use or resource persons. All these learning activities are meant to put the leaner to task in order to discover the knowledge on their own and apply what they have learnt in solving various problems around them. These assessment exercises are meant to assist in assessing leaner's progress in the course of learning. The series is authored by a panel of competent and experienced authors in curriculum development and teaching.

KLB Visionary English Literacy Activities Grade 1 Learner's Workbook is based on the new Competency-Based Curriculum. It has numerous learner-centred activities for each learning strand and sub-strand that allow the learners to discover and create knowledge through doing rather than memorizing facts. The four language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing are acquired through the involving activities that allow for maximum collaboration and participation among the learners.
