The purpose of this book is to give you the courage to glean from your past and build a life that will inspire generations to come. As one who has built a life from the rubbles that were left after a torturous life experience—surviving gender-based violence, meeting my biological father after 21 years, experiencing serial failure, contemplating suicide, and much more—my story stands as a signpost to tell you, "You're on the right path, and there is nothing wrong with you.
